What is Austrade?
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Government agency that helps Australian companies win overseas business for their products and services by reducing the time, cost and risk involved in selecting, entering and developing international markets.
Our mission is to contribute to community wealth by helping more Australians succeed in export and international business.
Austrade is represented in more than 140 overseas locations in over 60 countries and in Australia. Austrade offers practical advice, market intelligence and ongoing support (including financial) to Australian businesses looking to develop international markets. Austrade also provides advice and guidance on overseas investment and joint venture opportunities, and helps put Australian businesses in contact with potential overseas investors.
What is Pugglekids about?
Austrade’s 'Pugglekids' catalogue is designed to showcase innovative and export ready Australian children’s products to international buyers, importers and distributors of baby and children’s products.
A ‘puggle’ is a baby echidna or platypus. These uniquely Australian creatures characterise the uniqueness of Australian baby and children’s products.
Can my company register?
You should be eligible to register if:
- You are an Australian based company.
- Your products or services are designed and/or manufactured in Australia.
- Your company is ready to export, and able to provide export price lists on request.
